The Very Asian Foundation was honored to accept an invitation to the White House on Mar. 24, 2023. Co-founder Gia Vang and Executive Director Soogi Hong toured the Women’s history exhibit in the East Wing. As a women-led organization, this visit was important for the foundation to learn more about the brilliant women like Patsy Mink, Nina Otero-Warren, and Frances Perkins, who paved the way for us and others in this country.
