Our third Creators Grant is now ready to accept applications.

The grant is inspired by Dr. Kat Lieu, of Seattle, who pivoted from healthcare to launch a viral group called Subtle Asian Baking. Kat has now written three Asian-inspired cookbooks and serves as the Queen of Asian baking for countless followers on social media.
Our first round of grant recipients from 2023
What’s new this year? We’ve raised the microgrant by 50 percent -- going from $1,000 to $1,500. Grant recipients also no longer need to pivot into a full-time creative career. And, we’ve clarified who can apply (anyone!) as long as there is an AA and NHPI experience centered in the project.
Why did we do this? As we grow, we want to be mindful of the grant recipient’s individual journey, what will help them the most, and how we can sustain this grant in the future.
